PC - 1971 (?) - 10 jon - shows diesel hauled freight train in snow

KD

Env - 1988 - 1.20 x

KD: The envelope is completely blank on the reverse, so only the front is shown, The stamp is dated 1988.

PC - 1992?? - 3 won

KD:

postcard with 3 won imprinted stamp possibly issued in 1992 to promote the ten year plan shows an electric locomotive issued in several formats - very thin glossy paper, thick coarse paper and thick glossy paper

PPC - 1999 - 10w, 20w

KD - cards number 1 and 2 from a set of 12 to mark the year 2000. All show scenes of Pyjongyang, others have no railway connections. These both show the same bridge with a tramcar crossing.

PPCs - 2000? - 10w, 10w

KD: Two unusual items which may be a bit of a suprise - holiday postcards from North Korea. Not that I've been there, but the Korean PO representatives come to stamp exhibitions in Europe - you probably don't get a chance to meet them in the USA.

I haven't many details about what is shown, although the trams are second hand cars from Switzerland I think.

The second card looks like a millennium commemoration, or at least marks the year 2000 for some reason
