Below are PRC New Year's Lottery cards, several of which are issued every year, some have a railway subject. I believe the coupon at the side is entered into a draw, and the picture side is sponsored, but I can't say much else about them - KD 2/9/07 - viewer Bob James wrote as follows: China-PRC since 1995 has issued thousands of postal cards (+ hundreds of lettercds. & stamped envelopes)! These are primarily Happy New Year greetings, some are advertising & some are souveners attached to entrance tickets. About 2/3 include monthly lottery stubs. The newest ones are very well-done (printing, photography, graphic layout).
1994	1994 stamp is 15f for year of the dog 94-1 shows the ?? bridge under construction 94-2 shows the Railway Ministry building
1995	1995 stamp is 15f for year of the pig 95-1 sponsored by Sifang Locomotive & Rolling Stock Works, details in English & Chinese 95-2 shows double deck road-rail Yangtse River Bridge 95-3 shows Shenzeng Railway Station
1996	1996 stamp is 15f year of the mouse 96-1 Model of railway station (sorry, no details where) 96-2 Coal train on bridge with power station in background (again no details where) 96-3 15y imprinted stamp with additional 25y adhesive affixed. (Shows freight wagons, no other details.) - sponsored by CHINA SHAN TUNG THREE STAR INDUSTRIAL GROUP
1997	1997 stamp is 15f year of the bull - revalued to $40 97-1 Jinan Locomotive Rolling stock plant 97-2 Huehehaote(?)  Railway Bureau
1998	1998 stamp is 40f Year of the fish 98-1 Shows loco built by Lanzhou Loco works
1999	1999 stamp is 40f Year of the rabbit 99-1 shows track in tunnel - where? metro?
2000	2000 stamp is 60f Year of the snake 00-1 shows major transport infrastructure, top left illustration is railway marshalling (UK) /switching (US) yard 00-2 shows top right underground tracks, looks like narrow gauge in a mine, sponsored by some sort of engineering company? 00-3 shows a young girl walking along railway tracks, sponsored by China Mobile
2001	2001 stamp is 60f Year of the snake 01-1 sponsored by China Railway Erju Corporation 01-2 sponsored by Sifang Locomotive and Rolling Stock Works 01-3 sponsored by Tangshan Locomotive & Rolling Stock Works 01-4 sponsored by Huehot province Railway Administration
2002	2002 stamp is 60f Year of the Horse 02-1 shows multiple unit passenger train 02-2 shows female railway conductor with same multiple unit passenger train 02-3 shows the same multiple unit train from Sifang locomotive & rolling stock works 02-4 shows multiple unit passenger train I have not seen any cards for more recent years (yet)
1999 (per viewer Bob James, 2/9/2007) - not a lottery card	This last card seems to be another advertising card, but not for the lottery 60f stamp shows peonies picture side shows tracklaying in Hangzhou province - "Hangshzhou-tracklaying"
