9/4/2 - Prepaid PC - Estonian Railway Museum, Lavassaare. Indicium is 0-4-0 tank loco.

TG: It may be fanciful but I think it is just possible to make out "AEGNA No.5" on the side of the locomotive. Aegna is a tiny island off the Estonian coast north of Tallin. In the 1914-1918 war there was a 3 km. railway there built in connection with the naval defences of the Baltic shores. Probably built by Orenstein & Koppel. Photo cachet of railyard at museum.

8/15/03 - Prepaid PC - "Centenary of opening of traffic on the Valga-Moniste-Gulbene-Piavanas narrow-guage railway". Indicium shows steam locomotive in profile, another approaching near tower.

Card supplied by CJRRU member Hans Eriksson of Sweden.
