KD: PC - 18?? - Postcard, blank on reverse, 1d stamp shows 'Cathedral Square, Christchurch' with tram tracks and horse drawn trams, along with what looks like a steam road wagon as well as many horse drawn vehicles.

TG: PC - 1900 - "First contingent leave for the Front." Troops leaving Capetown Station for the Boer War, used 21.9.00. (Why on a new Zealand card is a puzzle.)

KD: Another 1d card showing colonial troops embarking for the front during the Boer War, entitled 'First contingent embarking at Capetown'. Blank on reverse

PPCs - 1985 - 24c ind of no rail interest - set of 8 issued for Stampex 85 - picture sides show historic scenes in Christchurch, most with trolleys

DL

Envs - 1985 - 2 pre-stamped envelopes with indicia same as Scott 818 and 819 - horse-drawn rail trolley and early steam train

PPCs - 1997 - set of 6 prepaid - Scenic Trains - picture sides reproduce images from Scott 1446-51; the stamps on the picture side are actual stamps, not part of the design. So far as I know, this is the only way these were sold, with the stamps affixed and First Day cancelled. I assume they were/are still valid within New Zealand as postcards, with no additional postage.

Air PPCs - 1997 - Scenic views, set of 20 cards with photos of sights in New Zealand, one with trolley in Christchurch.
